Being an eco- friendly company we try our best to have the least impact on the environment by re- using water in our gardens, growing our own food, composting the bio-degradable waste, and recycling all the rest.

HISTORY
Our journey begins in 2012 when Isabel, founder of the El Arbol hostels, decides to buy and restore an old colonial house located in the historic center of La Serena to turn it into a comfortable and cozy space, so travelers from different countries feel like they are at home. Such was the success of her first hostel that she decided to open another branch near the beach.
Eco-Lodge el Arbol is characterized by being an ecological hostel, with large green gardens, cozy common spaces, and terraces to enjoy and relax.
STAFF
Our team is formed by people from different places and ages, all committed to one cause: delivering quality service and the best experiences to our guests.
Pancho and Pepe, two dog brothers adopted by El Arbol family, are also part of our team. We hope you like them and they like you!
